Creativity Education
Education guru Sir Ken Robinson makes an entertaining case for creating an education system that nurtures creativity.
Some of the jokes are a little cheesy, but I found it interesting. Lately I've been having a serious itch to be more in touch with my hands...I feel like I need to go back to painting for a little while.

Love this song
Ali Farka Toure- Ai Du
I first heard it when I saw "Unfaithful" but when I was in Paris, they guy who served us breakfast would play this while we'd eat our baguette, croissant, and Jam.

objectified
oh oh!! I've been seeing that logo everywhere but I didn't realize what it was. Watch me be completely out of the loop... but new movie from the maker of Helvetica!
oooo
"Objectified is a feature-length independent documentary about industrial design. It’s a look at the creativity at work behind everything from toothbrushes to tech gadgets. It’s about the people who re-examine, re-evaluate and re-invent our manufactured environment on a daily basis. It’s about personal expression, identity, consumerism, and sustainability. It’s about our relationship to mass-produced objects and, by extension, the people who design them. "

Type animation
So, I know these type animations are all over the place where they animate stories, movie snippets etc etc in aftereffects, but this one is pretty nifty for a short clip.

Tim Walker
While I was in London I saw his exhibit at the Design Museum. Its a lot more breathtaking when you can see them at full scale as opposed to small little online snippets of the images. Gorgeous anyways tho
